When M+J first reached out to me, they knew they wanted something intimate, adventurous, and completely different from a traditional wedding—but they had no idea where to start. We got to work together, and I became more than just their photographer—I was their guide, sounding board, and timeline wizard. We had planning calls where we narrowed down the perfect location, figured out the permits they’d need, and even talked through backup plans for weather. I sent them a custom location guide with hike options, packing tips, and travel info to make the whole process feel simple and stress-free.

On the day of, I met them at the trailhead just before sunrise with coffee and Polaroids ready to go. We hiked, they exchanged their vows surrounded by morning light and the quaintness of the day, and we captured every beautiful, unscripted moment.

By the time we wrapped up, it felt like we were just friends sharing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
